Frequently Asked Questions
Do I have to complete all modules?
Modules 1-3 build on each other. Module 4 is the full qualification, only possible after completing 1-3.
What bike do I need?
From Module 3: Road bike according to Austrian bicycle regulations. Gravel bikes only for separate gravel module.
How fit do I need to be?
Good basic fitness and safe riding ability. You should be able to handle multi-hour rides.
Can I work as a guide immediately after?
After Module 4, you have the professional qualification. Legal/commercial questions are covered in the course.
Are there refresher courses?
Yes, after 2 years a refresher is planned (3-5 units depending on module).
